Salt Stitch House is a Newcastle-area embroidery label creating distinctive embroidered products for people who appreciate something a little different.

We make caps, kitchen pieces and other goods inspired by local places, nostalgia, humour and everyday life.

And we stitch them ourselves.

We believe embroidery gives a product something special. There's texture you can feel, dimension you can see and a permanence that suits the kinds of products we want to create.

So while you'll occasionally see other materials or techniques used where a design calls for them, embroidery is at the heart of Salt Stitch House.

Our products are embroidered here by locals rather than being decorated offshore or mass-produced somewhere we've never seen.

That allows us to produce smaller runs, experiment with new ideas and create things that have a genuine connection with the community around us.
