Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions apply to your use of the Salt Stitch House website and to purchases made from Salt Stitch House. Salt Stitch House is operated by Blue Sky Aurora Pty Ltd.

By using our website or placing an order with us, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.

About our products

Salt Stitch House sells embroidered and related products, including items that may be made to order or personalised.

We aim to describe and display our products as accurately as possible. However, colours and appearance may vary slightly depending on your screen, lighting, materials and the nature of embroidery or production.

Small variations between individual handmade, embroidered or made-to-order products may occur and are not necessarily considered faults.

Orders

When you place an order, you are offering to purchase the products in your cart at the price shown at checkout. Your order is not considered accepted until payment has been successfully processed and we have accepted the order.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order where reasonably necessary, including where:

a product is unavailable
there is an obvious pricing or product description error
payment cannot be processed
we reasonably suspect fraudulent or unauthorised activity
we are unable to complete a requested personalisation

If we cancel an order after payment has been received, we will provide an appropriate refund.

Pricing

All prices displayed on our website are in Australian dollars unless stated otherwise.

Shipping charges and any other applicable costs will be shown before you complete your purchase.

We may change our prices from time to time. A price change will not affect an order that has already been accepted.

If an obvious pricing error occurs, we may contact you to offer the option of proceeding at the correct price or cancelling the order for a refund.

Payment

Payment must be made using one of the payment methods available at checkout. Payments may be processed by third-party payment providers.

Salt Stitch House does not generally receive or store your complete payment card details.

Made-to-order products

Many Salt Stitch House products are made to order. Our usual production time is approximately 3-5 business days, although some products may take longer.

Any estimated production or dispatch timeframe is provided as a guide and may vary during particularly busy periods or where a product requires additional customisation.

Personalised and custom products

Where you order a personalised or custom product, you are responsible for checking all details before submitting your order. This includes:

names
spelling
wording
dates
colours
images
logos
other personalisation instructions

If we produce the product correctly based on the information you supplied, we are not required to provide a refund or replacement simply because you entered the information incorrectly.

If Salt Stitch House makes an error in producing your personalisation, we will work with you to provide an appropriate replacement or refund.

Personalised and custom products are not eligible for change-of-mind returns.

Customer-supplied content

If you provide us with photographs, artwork, logos, text or other material for personalisation, you confirm that you have the right to provide and use that material.

You must not submit material that infringes another person's intellectual property rights or is unlawful, defamatory, offensive or otherwise inappropriate.

We reserve the right to refuse personalisation requests where we reasonably consider the submitted material unsuitable.

Shipping and delivery

We currently ship within Australia only.

Shipping is subject to our separate Shipping Policy, which forms part of these Terms & Conditions.

Delivery timeframes are estimates and may be affected by factors outside our control.

You are responsible for providing an accurate and complete delivery address when placing your order.

Returns and refunds

Returns, refunds and faulty products are handled in accordance with our Refund Policy and your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

We do not offer refunds or exchanges simply because you change your mind.

This does not affect your rights where a product is faulty, damaged, incorrectly supplied, significantly different from its description or otherwise fails to meet a consumer guarantee.

Product availability

Products displayed on our website are subject to availability. From time to time, materials, colours, garments or other components may become unavailable after an order has been placed.

If this occurs, we will contact you to discuss available alternatives or provide an appropriate refund.

Website information

We take reasonable care to keep information on our website accurate and up to date. However, information may occasionally contain errors or omissions.

We may update, correct or change website content, product information, availability and pricing where reasonably necessary.

Intellectual property

Unless otherwise stated, the content of the Salt Stitch House website, including text, graphics, branding, photographs, designs and other material, is owned by or licensed to Blue Sky Aurora Pty Ltd.

You may view and use the website for personal shopping purposes.

You must not reproduce, distribute, modify or commercially use our website content without permission, except where permitted by law.

Changes will not retrospectively alter the terms applying to an order that has already been accepted.

Governing law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.

Any dispute relating to these Terms & Conditions will be subject to the laws and courts applicable in New South Wales, subject to any rights you may have under Australian consumer law.
